Schloss Zeilitzheim (Zeilitzheim castle) is a 300-year-old baroque castle in Bavaria owned by the von Halem family. The family has spent the last 25 years restoring the castle, an idealistic and highly satisfying undertaking based on the love for the old building and its heritage. House and garden have been restored to their original state as much as possible.
All activities in the castle serve the purpose of furthering the continuing efforts of renovation, to the great joy not only of its permanent inhabitants, but also to the many visitors who come for many reasons; for example to celebrate their wedding or a family reunion, to attend a concert or exhibition, or to spend their vacation in one of our apartments or one or more nights in one of our hotel rooms.
